Everything is transient — the performance, the body, life, one’s home. Looking back on himself from his current exile in Germany, as a dancer, as a son, and as a human being, choreographer Ivan Estegneev seeks in the moment of performance for a way to express the notions of letting go and holding on. How does one bid farewell to a deceased father from afar? How does one cope with an aging body? What about art that disappears?

This solo performance of Demon's Sorrow is a biographical reflection on the brevity of the moment, which, with every new breath, transforms endlessly into something new.
